IRS TAX PRACTICIONER SEMINAR TO BE HELD AT MIAMI DADE COLLEGE

MIAMI, November 15, 2007 – As tax season approaches, Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Business announces a seminar to help accounting and tax professionals sharpen their skills. The IRS Tax Practitioner Seminar is approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and satisfies Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credit Hours in the Technical Business category. 

Retirement plans, Cobra, Circular 230 – The Basics, Taxpayer Advocacy in Action, 2007 Income Tax law, and appeals on tax dispute are among the topics to be discussed. The seminar, which will be offered at two locations, will include a continental breakfast beginning at 7:45 a.m. and an afternoon snack.

Payment of $99 made payable to Miami Dade College Foundation, Inc. must be received within ten days of registration to reserve a seat. Cancellations done 15 days prior to the seminar will receive a full refund. A $25 penalty fee will apply if cancelled within 15 days. Please mail checks or money orders to the following address:
