The Aviation Administration program is designed to prepare students to succeed in the dynamic Aviation industry. The program focuses on the necessary entry-level skills for most Aviation employment fields. Accordingly, graduates find opportunities in airline sales and reservations, air cargo, airport operations, and data entry positions required by airlines and entry-level management opportunities.

Students learn the latest in management philosophy, computer technology, customer service, and industry operations. The American Airlines SABRE computerized reservations system is included in this program. We have excellent cooperative education programs available as well.

  Computer Competency
By the 16th earned college level credit (excluding EAP and college preparatory courses), a student must take the computer competency test and pass
Or
By the 31th earned college level credit (excluding EAP and college preparatory courses), a student must pass CGS 1060, an equivalent continuing education, or vocational credit courses or retest with a passing score on the computer competency test.
Requirements
  Requirements for all Associate degrees
A) Complete at least 15 of the last 30 credits applied toward the degree at Miami Dade College
B) Complete a minimum of 24 credits in discipline related courses at Miami Dade College for associate in Science degree programs
