All students transferring to a state university should note the following: In order to be admitted to a state university, a student must have two years of foreign language study in high school, or eight to ten semester credit hours of sequential study in one foreign language at the college level. Any 2200 foreign language class will satisfy the 3-credit elective course needed to complete the General Education requirement. Before registering for a Spanish class, native speakers must take a placement test in room 9204.
