Associate Degrees
Note: Faculty qualifications are determined by the College by reason of academic preparation and/or experience using these guidelines.

Anatomy and Physiology	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Biology with 9 graduate semester hours in Anatomy and Physiology or related discipline, or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in the related discipline or a graduate degree in the Medical Sciences with appropriate coursework.
Anthropology	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Anthropology or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Anthropology.
Architecture	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Architecture or Masters Degree with 18 graduate hours in Architecture.
Art	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Art or Masters Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Art.
Astronomy	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Physics, Astronomy, or Astrophysics or Masters Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Physics, Astronomy, or Astrophysics.
Aviation	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field Preferred or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree & Work Experience in Field. (Special program certification will be required).
Banking	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field Preferred, or Bachelors Degree & Recent Work Experience in Field Preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associates Degree and Recent Work Experience in Field.
Biochemistry	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Biochemistry, or Masters Degree in Chemistry with 9 graduate semester hours in Biochemistry, or Masters Degree in Biology with 9 graduate semester hours in Biochemistry, or Master degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Biochemistry.
Biology	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Biology, Masters Degree in one of the Biological Sciences, or Master’s Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Biology, or related fields.
Botany	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Botany, or Masters Degree in Biology with 9 graduate semester hours in Botany, or Master’s Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Botany.
Building Construction	All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field Preferred, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree & Work Experience. Articulation agreements identifying transfer courses may require a Master Degree in Field or a related field.
Business, General	Credit All GEB courses are transferable except those listed below	Masters of Business administration (MBA), or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in business.
Business, General	GEB 1949, 2949 and GEB 008 are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors Degree & Work experience in Field Preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred.
Business Law	Credit All BUL courses are transferable	Juris Doctorate or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in coursework related to Business Law.
Chemistry	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Chemistry or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields.
College Prep - Reading	Non-College Credit	Masters Degree in Reading or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Reading preferred. Teaching experience in developmental reading also preferred.
College Preparatory Mathematics	Non-College Credit	Bachelors Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 15 credits of mathematics or statistics including 2 semesters of Calculus
College Preparatory - English	Non-College Credit	Bachelors Degree in English or related discipline and teaching experience in developmental writing.
Computer Science	Credit The following courses are transferable: 1) COP 1334, COP 1332, COP 2335, COP 2800, COP 2805 or equivalent languages 2) CGS 1060, CGS 2091, CGS 2423.	Masters Degree in Computer Science or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Computer Science for transfer courses.
	All Computer Science courses are occupational except those listed above	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of an Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree, certificates and work experience for non-transfer courses.
Criminal Justice	Credit Occupational courses	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors Degree and work experience preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree and Work Experience required for non-transfer courses.
	Transferable courses	Masters Degree in Criminal Justice or field related to the course content or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Criminal Justice or related field.
Dance	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Dance or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Dance.
Dental Hygiene	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in Field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Diagnostic Medical Sonography	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in Field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Dietetic Technology	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors Degree and Work Experience in field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree and Work Experience in field required. Certification required.
Economics	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Economics or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Economics.
Education	Credit All courses are transferable except EDG 2943, EDF 1949 and EDF 2949	Master Degree in Education or Masters Degree and 18 graduate credits in Education. (Coursework, training, and/or experience in educational technology required for EME 2040).
Early Childhood/Child Development	All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Emergency Medical Services	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field and demonstrated competencies in discipline. Additional licensure/certification may be required.
Engineering	Credit The following courses are transferable: Group One: CET 1114C, 2123C, 2142C, EET 1015C, 1025C, 1141C, 2101C, 2305C, 2323C, 2351C, EGS 1001C, 1111C, 2033, 2311. Group Two: ETI1181, 1040, 1040L, 1622, 1644, 2403	Group One CET, EET, EGS courses: Masters Degree in Engineering or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Engineering for transfer courses. Group Two ETI courses: Masters Degree in Engineering or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Engineering, or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Biology with applicable industry experience.
	All courses are occupational except those listed above	Bachelors Degree in Field, Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree and Work Experience in Field.
English	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in English/ Linguistics/ Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing or Masters Degree with 18 graduate hours in English/Creative Writing or a concentration of writing related courses from the above disciplines.
	ENC 2135 and LIT 2480	Six graduate hours in Oral Communications required. Check English Education to be sure they are not methodology courses.
Environmental Science	Credit The following course is transferable: EVR 1001	Masters Degree in Environmental Science, or Masters Degree in a natural science with 9 graduate semester hours in environmental related science or engineering courses, such as but not limited to: Atmospheric Sciences, Botany, Earth Science, Ecology, Environmental Biology, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, and/or Oceanography (not to be limited to EVR and EVS courses only), or Masters degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Environmental Science.
Environmental Studies	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of an Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree & Work Experience in Field.
EAP	Non-Transferable/Credit	Masters Degree in TESOL or Masters Degree and 18 graduate hours in TESOL preferred. Masters Degree in Linguistics, Foreign Languages, English or Education with one of the following: 18 graduate credit hours focusing on language instruction or two years of teaching experience in ESL.
EAP (Labs)	Non-Transferable/Credit	Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in English Education or other related field. ESOL endorsement and/or 2 years of experience teaching English to second language learners preferred.
Fashion	Credit CTE 1401 is transferable	Masters Degree in Clothing & Textiles, or Masters Degree & 18 graduate semester hours in Clothing & Textiles
Fashion	All other courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree & Work experience in Field.
Film, Radio, TV Technologies	Credit - FIL 1200, 1400, & 2102 are transferable	Masters Degree in Film, Radio, TV Technologies or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Film, Radio, and TV Technologies for transfer courses.
	All courses are occupational except those listed above	Bachelors Degree in Film, Radio or TV Technologies, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Film, Radio or TV Technologies, or Associate Degree and Work Experience in one of the related fields for non- transfer courses.
Finance	Credit Transferable: FIN 2000 only	Masters Degree in Finance or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Finance.
	All courses are occupational except FIN 2000	Bachelors Degree in Field and Work Experience in Field preferred or a minimum of an Associate Degree in Field and Work Experience in Field for non-transfer courses.
Fire Science	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field and Work Experience in Field preferred or a minimum of an Associate Degree in Field and Work Experience in field. License required.
Food Services / Culinary Arts	Non-Transferable Credit: All FSS courses (except FSS 1010)	Bachelor´s Degree in Field accompanied by a portfolio reflecting 10 years of experience in the Culinary field and/or American Culinary Federation Certified Executive Chef certification
	Transferable Credit: FSS 1011	Master´s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetic Sciences or a Master´s Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in nutrition, dietetic services, or a related field.
Foreign Language	Credit All courses are transferable FOT 2122, 2123 (Study Abroad)	Master´s Degree in the Foreign Language or Master´s Degree with 18 graduate hours in the assigned Foreign Language.
Funeral Services	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field and Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field and Work Experience in field. Certification required.
Geography	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Geography or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Geography.
Geology	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Geology/Earth Science or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Geology/Earth Science.
Graphics Arts	Credit The following courses are transferable: GRA 1111C, GRA 2117C, 2190C, and 2191C.	Masters Degree in Commercial Art, Graphic Arts or related field, or Masters Degree & 18 graduate semester hours in Commercial Art, Graphic Arts, or related field.
Health Information Management	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Health & Wellness	Credit HLP 1080,1081,1082,1083 PET 2430,2622C,2760 All courses are transferable Credit HSC 2400	Basic credential. Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, or Sports Science, or a Masters Degree with 18 graduate semester hours in field. In addition, for HSC 2400, current certification (recertification required every two years) as an Instructor in (1) First Aid validated by either the American Red Cross (ARC) or Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ESCI) and in (2) Basic Life Support (BLS) validated by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Health Science	Credit Transferable courses are HSC 1152, 2100, 2531	Masters degree or 18 graduate credits in Health Science, Nursing or Allied Health discipline or professional degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or Podiatry
	Occupational courses	Bachelors degree in Health Science, Nursing or Allied Health discipline or Associate degree in field and demonstrated competencies in discipline.
Histologic Technology	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field and demonstrated competencies in discipline. Additional licensure/certification may be required.
History	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in History or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in History.
Hospitality Management	Non-Transferable Credit: HFT 1212, 1609,1841,1841L, 1949 & 2949	Bachelor´s Degree in Field, or Bachelor´s Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Hospitality Management or related field, or Associate Degree & relevant Work Experience.
	Transferable Credit: All courses except HFT 2421	Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management or a Master’s Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Hospitality Management or related field.
	Transferable Credit: HFT 2421	Master’s Degree in Accounting or Master’s degree and 18 graduate credits in accounting.
Human Services	Credit All courses require masters	Masters Degree in Human Services or a related Social Science or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Human Services or a related Social Science.
Humanities: HUM 1020	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Humanities or Masters Degree with a total of 18 graduate hours in at least three of the Humanities disciplines (Art, Dance, Literature, Music, Theatre, Philosophy, or Humanities)
IDS 1150 Earth Literacy and Sustainability 1	Credit Transferable	Must offer one of the following sets of credentials (1) Masters Degree, one year on the Earth Ethics Institute (EEI) Council and 14 hours EEI/CTD Green Studies Courses and 12 hours EEI/CTD Green Studies Immersions; (2) Masters Degree, one year on the EEI Council and 3 Graduate Credits in Earth Literacy; (3) Masters Degree and nationally recognized expertise in Earth Literacy (publishing, research); or (4) Masters Degree and certification from the EEI National Advisory Board.
Interior Design	Credit Only IND 1020, 1100, 1200, 1130, 2210, 2220, 2430 are transferable	Masters Degree in Interior Design or Architecture or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Interior Design.
	All other courses are occupational.	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree & Work Experience in Field for non-transfer courses.
ISS 1161 Individual in Society	Credit Transferable	Masters Degree in one of the Social Sciences Disciplines related to content of the course or Masters Degree and 18 graduate credits in one of the Social Sciences related to the content of the course.
ISS 1120 Introduction to Social Environment	Credit Transferable	Masters Degree in one of the Social Sciences Disciplines related to content of the course or Masters Degree and 18 graduate credits in one of the Social Sciences related to the content of the course.
ISS 2270 Multicultural Communications and Relations	Credit Transferable	Masters Degree in one of the Social Science Disciplines related to content of the course with graduate coursework in multiculturalism, cross-cultural studies, urban studies or other fields related to the course content.
Journalism	Credit All courses are transferable But not for majors	Masters Degree in Journalism or Mass Communications or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Journalism or Mass Communications.
Leisure	LEI 1920, 1921, 2920 may transfer	Masters Degree in Leisure Services, Health Science, Physical Education or Recreation, or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in any of the above.
Library Science	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Library Science or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Library Science.
Management	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree & Work Experience in field.
Marine Biology	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Marine Biology or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Marine Biology.
Marketing	MAR 1011, 1720 & MKA 1021, 1161 are transferable	Masters of Business administration (MBA) and 6 graduate semester hours in Marketing or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Marketing.
Marketing	All other courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree & Work Experience in field.
Mass Communications	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Communications, Broadcasting or Journalism or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Communications, Broadcasting or Journalism.
Mathematics (Including Intermediate Algebra, MAT1033)	Credit, all courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Mathematics or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics
Business and Technical Mathematics	Credit—All courses, but MTB 1103 are tranferable.	For Transferable Credit Courses: Masters Degree in Business and/or Mathematics or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in the subject. Check for Math/Business Education courses to determine if they can count as Math courses. For Occupational MTB 1103: Bachelors Degree in Business or Field or Associate Degree in Field and Demonstrated Competencies in Discipline.
Medical Laboratory Technology	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field and demonstrated competencies in discipline
Meteorology	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Meteorology/Earth Science or Geology or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Meteorology/Geology or Earth Science.
Microbiology	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Microbiology, or a Masters Degree in Biology with 9 graduate semester hours in Microbiology, or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Microbiology.
Midwifery	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field. Additional certification/license may be required.
Music	Credit All coursers are transferable	Masters Degree in Music or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Music.
Music Business	Credit All MUM courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree and work experience in field or Associate Degree and work experience in field.
Music Pre-Applied	Non-transfer 11/30/2004	Demonstrated proficiency in musical instrument or voice.
Nuclear Medicine	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in field or Associate Degree in field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Nursing	Credit (AS, limited transfer) and Occupational (CTE-PN)	For all Courses, Current FL License to Practice Nursing; 2 Years Equivalent FT Clinical Practice Experience as Registered Nurse. Except for designated Clinical Courses, Master’s Degree with Nursing major; for these Clinical Courses, Bachelor’s Degree with Nursing major: NUR 1002L, NUR 1025L, NUR 1211L, NUR 2310L, NUR 2420L, NUR 2520L, NUR 2680L, NUR 2212L ,NUR 2810C, PRN 0001C, PRN 0003C, PRN 0202C, PRN 0203C, PRN 0120C, PRN 0933C.
	NUR 3826, Ethnical Issues in Heath Care and the Environment.	Masters degree in Nursing with sufficient documented experience and/or graduate credit in bioethics or environmental ethics with health care-applications or a Masters degree and 18 graduate semester hours in bioethics or environmental ethics with content pertinent to health-care applications.
Nutrition	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Nutrition or Dietetic Sciences or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in the above area.
Oceanography	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Oceanography or related science field or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Oceanography or related science field.
Office Technology	: Credit – OST 2335 is transferable; all other courses are occupational	For OST 23335: Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or Masters Degree in Related Field. For occupational courses: Bachelors Degree in Office Technology or Business Education, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree and Work Experience in field.
Opticianry	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Paralegal	Only PLA 2003, 2104, 2114, 2203, 2223, 2273, 2303, 2600, 2800	Juris Doctorate degree; and admitted to a state bar in good standing.
	All other courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree and Work Experience as a Paralegal; Minimum of Associate Degree and Work Experience as a Paralegal.
Philosophy	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Philosophy or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Philosophy.
Photography	Credit The following courses are transferable: PGY 2110C, 2111C, 2401C, 2410C, 2470C, 2475C	Masters degree in Photography, or Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Photography.
	All other courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Field preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Field, or Associate Degree & Work Experience in field.
Physical Therapy Assistant	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Physician Assistant	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Physical Education	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Physical Education or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Physical Education. Professional Certification required.
Physical Science (PSC)	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in a physical science or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in a physical science.
Physics	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Physics or Masters Degree with 18 graduate hours in Physics.
Political Science	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Political Science or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Political Science.
American Federal Government State and Local Government	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters degree in Public Administration or Political Science or Masters degree and a total of 18 graduate hours in public administration or political science.
Psychology	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Psychology or Counseling or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology or Counseling.
Public Relations	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Public Relations or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Public Relations. Mass Communication courses related to Public Relations will be accepted.
Public Administration	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Public Administration or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Public Administration.
Quantitative Methods	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Business or a Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Business Statistics. MBA with a minimum of 12 graduate credits in econometrics, security analysis, capital budgeting, auditing, quantitative methods, financial analysis, or operations management.
Radiation Therapy	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Radiography	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Real Estate	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Business, or Bachelors Degree & Work Experience in Real Estate preferred; Minimum of Associate Degree in Business, or Associate Degree & Work Experience in Real Estate. Professional Certification required.
Religion	Credit All courses are transferable	Masters Degree in Religious Studies or Masters Degree in Literature and Languages (Hebrew, Sanskrit, Etc.), Philosophy or Anthropology if transcript shows evidence of specialization in Religion or Masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in one of these areas.
Respiratory Therapy	Credit All courses are occupational	Bachelors Degree in Field or Associate Degree in field. Additional certification/licensure may be required.
Sign Language Interpretation	Transferable Courses: ASL 1140C, ASL 1150C, ASL 2160C, ASL 2200C	Masters Degree in American Sign Language or ASL/English Interpreter Education and(National) RID Certification (preferred) or State (FRID) interpreter credential OR Masters Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in above fields and (National) RID Certification (preferred) or State (FRID) interpreter credential OR Masters in area of Deaf Studies (i.e. culture, history or education) and State (FRID) interpreter credential
