The Dual Enrollment program allows an eligible secondary student who is enrolled in a Florida public or private high school or in a home education program to take postsecondary classes that are creditable toward the high school diploma and a career certificate, Associate or Baccalaureate degree.
Eligible students are permitted to enroll in dual enrollment course conducted during school hours, after school hours, and during the summer term. The credits that students earn must be used toward both high school graduation and be acceptable toward the technical certificate, associate or baccalaureate degree.
