Description
Established in 1850, Heidelberg College has been ranked for 18 consecutive surveys as “One of America’s Best Colleges” by U.S. News and World Report magazine. It is a selective, independent, liberal arts college situated atop College Hill in Tiffin, Ohio. Unique to Heidelberg is an Honors Program designed around the artist, the scholar, the scientist, and the citizen, featuring a service learning component.
Transfer Agreement Highlights
The Honors Program at Heidelberg College and The Honors College at Miami Dade College have entered into an agreement to facilitate the smooth and successful transition of outstanding Honors graduates.

Heidelberg College will admit graduates of The Honors College at Miami Dade College into the Honors Program at Heidelberg with junior standing provided that: (a) the student has been recommended by The Honors College (b) the student has earned an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree from Miami Dade College (c) the student has been admitted to Heidelberg College.
Scholarships
Heidelberg will award, where applicable, packaged scholarships of no less than the amounts noted as follows:

  1. For Honors College transfer students and Phi Theta Kappa students with 3.5 GPA, a merit award of $5,000 which will be combined with a $4,000 out-of-state grant.
  2. For transfer students with 3.3.-3.49 GPA, a merit award of $4,000 which will be combined with a $4,000 out-of-state grant.
