MDC Baseball team

 

The Miami Dade College Baseball team finished the 2009-2010 season with a record of 38-13, 14-9 in conference. The Sharks finished the season as the FCCAA State-Runners up, and Southern Conference Runners-up. The Sharks also placed 5 players on the FCCAA/NJCAA Gulf District All-Tournament Team. Infielder David Vidal, outfielder Christopher Morales, designated hitter Manuel Ozoria, pitchers Danny Hernandez and Derek Law.

The MDC Baseball Team also placed 5 players on the FCCAA All-State Team. First Team: Jose Rodriguez, David Vidal, Isomel Leon, Danny Hernandez; Second Team: Christopher Morales. Selected to the Southern Conference First Team are: David Vidal, Jose Rodriguez, Christopher Morales, Isomel Leon, Daniel Hernandez, Derek Law. Second Team All-Conference: Yael Colon, Ozzie Perez, Joel Capote, Jharel Cotton. Conference Pitcher of the Year was awarded to Daniel Hernandez.
