The Miami Dade College Sharks Men's Basketball team

Basketball Team 2013

The Miami Dade College Sharks Men's Basketball teamconcludes the season with an overall record of 9-20-1, 0-12 conference. The Sharks had freshman Michael Calder make the 2013 All-Southern Conference First Team. Calder averaged 11.8 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 4.1 apg,and 1.1 stlpg. Two players made the Second team; Muhammed Ahmed, 11.7 ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.4 stl, and Daniel Herrera, 12.6ppg, 4.4rpg.

The Miami Dade College men's basketball team holds a record of 8-6 so far this season. The Sharks are led by freshman Darious Perkins 18.8 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.4 apg,and 4.1 spg, sophomore Daniel Herrera 13.4 ppg,5.1 rpg, and freshman Muhammed Ahmed 10.6 ppg,8.6 rpg. The Sharks have upcoming games vs. Pasco-Hernando December 14 at 2pm,Hillsborough State College Dec. 18 at 7pm, and Baltimore City CC December 20at 7pm before they begin Southern Conference play in January.
