The Miami Dade College men’s basketball team finishes their 2010-2011 season with a record of 21-11, 7-5 in conference. The Sharks were led by freshman Xavier Munford who averaged 17 pts per game and is ranked No. 9 in the state for scoring, No. 15 for 3-pt. %, No. 17 for Steals Munford was also named 1st Team All-Conference, Conference Newcomer of the Year, and All-FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Team for the State. Sophomore Maurice Kemp avg. 15.2 pts per gm, ranked No. 15 in the state for scoring, No. 6 for Rebounds, No. 11 for FG %, No. 12 for Steals and was named 1st Team All-Conference, alongside sophomore Zach Lamb, ranked No. 27 in the State for scoring, No. 17 for Assists, No. 15 for Steals and named 1st Team All-Conference. Sophomore Julian Sargent was named 2nd Team All-Conference as well. |
