Gita Runkle, M.B.A., M.A., serves as the Interim Director of the Biotechnology Program. Ms. Runkle oversees the day-to-day operations of the program including all programmatic, budgetary and grant related activities. In addition to supporting the development of articulation agreements for the Biotechnology Program, she is strengthening the College’s industry relations and outreach in the field of biotechnology. Previously, Ms.Runkle served as the Student Support Manager for the Biotechnology Program where she developed and managed the outreach, retention, mentorship and internship/job placement programming. She has several years of experience in higher education, as well as corporate marketing experience in the hospitality and consumer packaged goods industries. Ms. Runkle has a Master of Arts in Higher Education from New York University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
