Kerrie Koslowe is the Office Manager of the Biotechnology Program.
Kerrie provides database management, which includes monitoring multiple
budgets at North and Wolfson campuses. Her role is one of a
communicator and a liaison for the Program. Her pertinent tasks
include establishing relationships with the Miami Dade College Purchasing, Accounting, Plant Maintenance, Media Services departments, and external vendors. She prepares all of the equipment department requisitions for the establishment of the laboratories. Ms. Koslowe also participates with outreach activities that include informing prospective students about the courses, options and degrees offered.
She also supervises the part-time assistants in the program and trains the staff on database applications.
Ms. Koslowe has seven years of managerial experience in coordinating and creating activities and special events in a multicultural educational and not-for-profit sector. She has a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration from University at Buffalo-The State University of New York, and a Certificate in Conference, Meeting and Event Management from
New York University. She is an active volunteer with the Miami Book
Fair International and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.
