Radio & Television Broadcast Programming Associate in Science
Program Overview
The Radio and Television Broadcast Programming, Associate in Science program trains students in a state-of-the-art, high-definition broadcast facility to perform all the functions of a television production crew. Students will develop the skills needed to function as: director, camera operator, floor manager, production assistant, technical director, graphics operator, audio engineer, and teleprompter operator. Instruction in field production and broadcasting practices further prepare students and contribute to an advantage in gaining lucrative employment in the expanding South Florida radio and television industries.

Program Details
Students learn to use the latest digital camera and post production techniques from dedicated and highly-trained broadcast professionals. The College’s television network, MDC-TV affords students the opportunity train in a fully operational television set. Classes are taught by industry professionals with advanced degrees. Internships take place at local TV studios, radio stations, and networks.
