Joan has 22 years of teaching experience.She is a Certified Travel Consultant and a Destination Specialist from The Travel Institute. Additionally, she is a Certified Tour Guide for Miami-Dade County.

Her career work in the Travel and Tourism industry includes a background in tour operations, tour guiding and specialization in group & international travel.

As a worldwide traveler, Joan has traveled to many exotic & adventurous locations; such as, China, India, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia & Papua New Guinea. She has traveled to every country in Western Europe and all countries in Central and South America. In Africa she has visited Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.

She has lived in both Germany & Austria
