In addition, we provide our students with the education necessary to succeed beyond the scope of Miami Dade College's programs. Further, we have an advisory committee to advise and assist the School in the establishment, revision, and implementation of its workforce education programs, and to share the knowledge and experience of the members to improve instructional performance and student outcomes. The School of Business advisory committee is comprised of leading members of our community who work with our administration, faculty, and staff to ensure the success of our future graduates.   Lab Procedures:

Business Resource Centers located at all Campuses

Business students have access to Business labs from Monday to Saturday on a first-come, first-serve basis. When using the lab for the first time each semester, all students must present a student ID card and a paid schedule to register at the front desk. For subsequent visits, the student ID card will be sufficient, but must show it to check in and out at the front desk. All distributed materials will be collected at this time.

Although it is not a requirement, it is expected that users of the lab have taken an introductory computer course or have some prior knowledge of computers. Lab assistants are on duty to assist students in the use of business software and hardware. Tutors are provided for Accounting, Economics, Statistics, and other business subjects.

Lab Policies

  • No smoking, eating or drinking is permitted in the lab.
  • Be considerate; keep conversation to a minimum and acceptable level.
  • Due to limited space, only one student is allowed at each terminal.
  • Keep the labs clean - put all discarded paper products in the recycle bin; put all other trash in the garbage cans provided.
