Are you new to Word Processing or just new to Microsoft Word? In this workshop you will learn all the basics of word processing from entering text to moving it around and some formatting tips that will make your documents look great. In addition, there are lots of wonderful new time saving features that you will explore in this Word session.


  As a result of successful completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Enter and edit text

  • Create and save a file

  • Format text, paragraphs and documents

  • Import clip art

  • Use spell check, AutoCorrect and AutoText

  • Identify and see how to use some of the new features in Office 2010

  • Describe how to use the Tabs and Ribbons

  • Describe how to share documents with non-Office 2010users.

Go to the CTD Registration and Schedule page.

Enter CTD0100 in Course ID 


Click the Reference Number for the Current Workshop

Click  Add Class to  Shopping Cart
Click the Go to Register button  (under Shopping Cart)
Click Register for All Workshops in Cart (bottom of screen)
