Description:
This workshop will offer beginning level
instruction in this popular spreadsheet program. Participants will learn how to
move around a worksheet, enter and edit labels and values, use AutoFill, add and
remove rows and columns, use simple formulas, create graphs and charts and
enhance a worksheet.
Objectives
As a result of successful
completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- identify components of an Excel
worksheet.
- enter and edit labels and values.
- use AutoFill and cut, copy, and paste.
- insert and delete rows and columns.
- use simple formulas and functions.
- create graphs and charts.
- enhance a worksheet.
* Note about : Office 2010
In
addition, to the objectives stated above, participants in the Office 2010
workshops will be able to:

Identify and see how to use some of the
new features in Office 2010

Describe how to use the Tabs and
Ribbons

Describe how to share documents with
non-Office 2010 users.

Delivery formats:
F2F - Face-to-Face - All sessions meet in a lab or classroom

Registration
Registration for CT&D workshops are through the Student Information and
Registration system. The process for registering for a CTD
workshop will be the same as registering for a regular class at MDC.
You can access the Registration System and register
for a CTD workshop using the same user name and password that use to
login to your computer. Example: Richard
Johnson would be rjohnson (You will
NOT
need to create a separate student myMDC account to register for a CTD
workshop)
Make a note of the Reference Number for the
workshop then go to
Registration Instructions
Once you have registered for a class, you can print your
schedule. Please make every effort to attend once
you've registered as seats are limited.
However, If you need to drop, you can also do this through the Web
Registration screen. CTD classes will
appear on your transcript as non-credit classes.
If you need special assistance to
