Audience:       Faculty who have completed the ANGEL Intro Training 7.1

Prerequisite     ANGEL Introductory Instructor Training

 

Description:
This online workshop provides information and practice activities for some of the new features in ANGEL 7.2 including Blogs, Wikis and the new Assessment Tool.    Additionally, all of the presentations for the 12 modules in the revised ANGEL Introductory course will be available as optional information.   Many of these lessons are presented in a revised format and provide good review.   The required presentations, activities, checkpoints and discussions should take about 3 hours.   The course will run for one week.  You must have completed the ANGEL Introductory Training 7.1 to be eligible to take this workshop.

  1. Identify new features in ANGEL 7.2
  2. Use the Assessment Tool
  3. Describe the use of Create Question Sets
  4. Create a Blog or Wiki
  5. Describe the End-of-Term, Beginning of Term procedures / recommendations

How to Register

Registration for CT&D workshops are through the Student Information and Registration system.  The process for registering for a CTD workshop will be the same as registering for a regular class at MDC.  

New - Easier registration for workshops

You can access the Registration System and register for a CTD workshop using the same user name and password that use to login to your computer.    Example:   Richard Johnson  would be rjohnson     (You will NOT need to create a separate student myMDC account to register for a CTD workshop

Make a note of the Reference Number for the workshop then go to Registration Instructions

Once you have registered for a class, you can print your schedule.    Please make every effort to attend once you've registered as seats are limited.     However, If you need to drop, you can also do this through the Web Registration screen.     CTD classes will appear on your transcript as non-credit classes.
