What is ANGEL and how can you and your students benefit from incorporating some of the features of this Learning Management System into your instruction?  This one-hour demonstration will provide a tour of some of the features of ANGEL, including online content delivery, testing, and communication, as well as a look at some of the new features in the latest release, 7.2.       ANGEL has been adopted at MDC for both Virtual College and Web-enhanced classes and will be replacing WebCT, which will be phased out over the next two semesters.    This workshop will also discuss training options available for learning how to create your own ANGEL course.

As a result of successfully completing this workshop, participants will be able to:
  • Identify how to access and navigate the ANGEL LMS
  • Identify the content and communication tools such as Lesson pages, Calendar, Course Mail, Wimba Tools and Discussion Forums
  • Identify components of the Gradebook and Reports feature
  • Identify instructor tools for managing an ANGEL course
