Description:

This workshop is designed to provide an interactive work sessions and preliminary templates for the following Baccalaureate implementation process. Work sessions include:

  •  Budget
  •  Data Collection
  •  Marketing
  •  Library
  •  Administrative
  •  Faculty

The workshop content will enhance skills in the implementation of the approved BS-BS and BS-ECE programs. The curriculum is an interactive blend of presentations and active, hands-on participation in a face-to-face workshop seminar.  All participants will have the opportunity to direct questions to the presenters and are encouraged to bring specific items/questions for discussion.


 Objectives

As a result of successful completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  •  Review/compile budget, course offerings projections
  •  Identify data elements and utilize data tools for State data collection
  •  Produce information for a Marketing campaigns, using different media such as print, radio, television, mobile, etc.
  •  Develop and plan for library resources as stipulated in the approved Baccalaureate Proposal
  •  Initiate planning for facility renovations, equipment orders, Quals, and Budget codes
  •  Develop guidelines for faculty credentialing, begin processes for course and textbook

How to Register

Registration for CT&D workshops are through the Student Information and Registration system.  The process for registering for a CTD workshop will be the same as registering for a regular class at MDC.  

New - Easier registration for workshops

You can access the Registration System and register for a CTD workshop using the same user name and password that use to login to your computer.    Example:   Richard Johnson  would be rjohnson     (You will NOT need to create a separate student myMDC account to register for a CTD workshop

Make a note of the Reference Number for the workshop then go to Registration Instructions

Once you have registered for a class, you can print your schedule.    Please make every effort to attend once you've registered as seats are limited.     However, If you need to drop, you can also do this through the Web Registration screen.     CTD classes will appear on your transcript as non-credit classes.
