Commissioning Artists and Work
Since founding the Center for Cultural
Collaborations International, we have discovered
that some of the greatest needs in terms of the
production of new work and international cultural
exchange involve the cultivation and administration
of funds, the negotiation of contracts,
the coordination of logistics, translation across
language and cultural barriers and innumerable
other long-term, labor-intensive elements
of the creative process. We have developed
the institutional capacity and experience to
confront these challenges and have established a reputation as a national center for international project development.
