The Spanish Harlem Orchestra

The Spanish Harlem Orchestra

Dedicated to preserving the vital history of classic Latin dance orchestras while simultaneously writing and arranging new music for contemporary audiences, the Grammy-winning Spanish Harlem Orchestra is an act that appeals to people of every age, race and disposition. Led by world-famous pianist and composer Oscar Hernández since 2000, the Spanish Harlem Orchestra has quickly established itself as the curator of a musical tradition borne of “El Barrio.” The 13-piece ensemble, replete with vibrant horns and stunning vocal harmonies, will perform selections from its latest recording, United We Swing.

“The Spanish Harlem Orchestra is one of the best musical groups in the business.”
— Paul Simon, legendary recording artist, composer and arranger
