Booker T. Washington High School
Vicki Pollard and Nancy Beim
November 16, 2007

Students in Vicki Pollard and Nancy Beim’s class use produce from their school garden in the breakfast café they run each morning.  They expanded their garden this year, planting many more collard plants and some marigolds.  This class definitely gets the prize for most active use of their compost pile.  It was full of egg shells, orange and banana peels when we arrived!
