2009 Festival Film Guide

Free Student Screenings

For many years, Miami International Film Festival's educational screenings have provided students with career oriented films and a fun learning experience. Panels held after the screenings give students the opportunity to have a question and answer session with an invited representative from the film.

The education department at the Miami Film Festival provides study guides for films in this category, which will encourage teachers in language arts, social studies and world issues to incorporate the screening experience into their curriculum. In addition, the festival provides a list of recommended films from our general line-up, which is widely distributed to all Dade-County public schools and faculty at local colleges and universities.

Student screenings are free of charge and open to all students and faculty.

2009 Student Screenings will take place on:

Children's Small Stories (Petites Historias das Crianças)

The InterCampus project, launched by Milan's professional soccer team Inter, encourages the development of children affected by war or poverty through playing soccer.
