Hello everyone, I’m Luis Sotolongo your current SGA President. My role as Student Government President is to represent the student body; making sure that our opinions and concerns are heard. I’m a nursing major and so far classes have gone well. My life on campus has been amazing; I’m not only SGA President, but I’m also an active member of other organizations. Miami Dade College is my home away from home.

My Name Is Issachar Roldan and I am your SGA Vice President. I am also President of the Hialeah Performing Arts Club. My major is Music/Music Education and I am a performer. My dream is to be on Broadway and to pass on my knowledge to the future performers all over the world.
Nabila Perez

My name is Nabila Perez, and I am the Student Government Association Treasurer at the Miami-Dade College, Hialeah Campus. I am currently working on my A.A. in Biology, and working towards my goal of going to medical school at either University of Miami or Universityof Central Florida, and becoming a Medical Examiner. As the SGA Treasurer of my campus, it is my job to work with the Student Life manager on maintaining the budget and keeping track of all the monies.

Hi everyone my name is Yelenni Perez and I am your Student Government Secretary. My major is Biology and my goal is to be a dentist. I enjoy being with my friends, listening to music and reading. I am full of energy, enthusiasm, and charisma. I am very dedicated to my studies, and the well being of our community. My goal for this upcoming year as a member of SGA is to have more communication than before with the students, have more new members, more opportunities for the students in different activities, and be there for anything that they need.

Hi, my name is Yailin Rodriguez and I am the senator at the Student Government Association. I was born in Habana, Cuba. I am very outgoing, friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic and very responsible. I love to meet new people and learn from them. I also love to spend time with my friends and family. My plans for the future are to graduate from Miami Dade College with an associate in science and then transfer to the University of Florida so I could continue my career as a veterinarian. As a senator I plan to get students more involved in the school activities.

Hello, there! I am Gonzalo Perez and I am your Student Government Senator. I am majoring in the field of Mechanical Engineering and plan to further my studies at the University of Florida. I have a passion for letting people know what I believe they should know, and is primarily the reason why I joined SGA. I take pleasure in knowing that my community is informed and strive to continue to have them informed. I will contribute as much time and effort as I can to serve the Student Government Association at the Hialeah Campus.
