Provides job search assistance to students.
 
Job Search Assistance: Schedule an appointment for help with writing a resume, cover letter and finding a job.  Current information is available on hiring organizations, salary levels, job market and interviews.
 
Job Vacancies: Current vacancies received from employers are on file in the office and posted on campus (by room A-230).  Vacancy listings from other sources are also available.
 
Job Fairs: Annual job fairs provide an opportunity to meet with representatives from employing organizations and to find out about their current job opportunities.
 
Workshops: Workshops are given throughout the semester on various topics to assist you in your job search preparation-example:  resume writing/critique, mock interviews, interpersonal relations skills, etc.  Please call in advance to learn about current workshop events and topics.
 

 
  • O*Net On-Line:  Makes occupational information interactive and accessible for all.  Find occupations, snapshots, skills search, details on selected occupations, and related occupations.
     
  • America's Job Bank:  Offers free search through a database of over one million jobs nationwide, to create and post your resume online, and set up an automated job search.  Over 900,000 jobs available and 31,000 jobs on a daily basis.
     
  • The Chronicle of Higher Education:  More than 3,160 current job listings from over 1,190 institutions.
     
  • abcteachingjobs.com - ABC Teaching Jobs is a classified network of teacher jobs and resume postings. K-12 schools can find qualified teachers and job seeking educators can find teaching positions in education. ABC Teaching Jobs is a no fee service for all job seeking K-12 teachers and administrators.
