Selection is based on the students' cumulative grade point average (GPA) and successful completion of prerequisite courses. Students who are currently enrolled in all prerequisite courses of the chosen option are also eligible for selection.
Application Criteria – Accelerated Option (Full Time Only)
To apply to the Accelerated Nursing Option in the School of Nursing for the Spring program (2010-2) and all following semesters, the applicant must:
1. Successfully complete the following general education and natural sciences pre-requisite courses with a “C” or higher prior to the application deadlines:

* A baccalaureate degree or higher from an accredited institution in the United States will exempt the student from these general education courses.
2. Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5
3. Complete the TEAS Test with a minimum scores of 58.7% or higher.
Additional Requirements:
1. Applicants must provide proof through Official Transcripts of a baccalaureate degree or higher in the United States.
2. Students with 4 or more grades of D, F or W, in required natural science courses are not eligible for entry into the Associate Degree Nursing program
3. Applicants with 3 or more grades of “D”, “F”, or “W” in the required natural science pre-requisite courses are not eligible for entry in any of the Nursing program options.
4. Applicants with more than two (2) enrollments (D, F, W) for any the required natural science pre-requisite courses are not eligible for entry in any of the Nursing program options.

2. Natural Sciences GPA (40%)
