The VESSI project is intended to enhance the student experience at Miami Dade College, Homestead Campus.  The project supports students pre-college through the end of the first year, and beyond, through Course Placement Test (CPT) orientation and preparation, Student Success workshops, mentoring, tutoring, and more.  The goal is to improve success and retentions rates, especially among students entering college at the developmental level.  The long-term focus of the project is on the establishment of a one-stop Student Success Center that will become the hub for all student support services.
