(Non-credit courses)
As a catalyst and resource for community building, the Community Education Department is one of the campus’ primary instructional components in meeting the educational needs of students. We offer a variety of non-credit courses for occupational skills, career development, and enrichment for quality of life training. We maintain approved provider status for the delivery of pre-licensing and continuing education courses for many state regulated
occupational groups (realtors, child care workers, insurance agents, etc).
Although our courses are offered primarily in English, the child care program is offered in English, Spanish and Creole, and a few computer courses are offered in Spanish.
