Maintenance Requirements

The Fellows Scholarship Award is given to students accepted and fully enrolled as Associate of Arts seeking students in The Honors College. Payment of the scholarship will occur when a student recipient is fully enrolled and has commenced studies. To maintain this award, students will need to follow the guidelines below, set by the The Honors College.

 

3.5 grade point average

At the end of each semester, campus directors will review students grades to ensure that they maintain 3.5 grade point average or above. Student with grades below 3.5 will meet and discuss their status in The Honors College with the Director and Dean.

Maintain all scheduled classes each semester

During the semester, students of The Honors College are banned from class withdrawal. Students with extenuating circumstances are required to discuss their situation with The Honors College Director and Dean.

Maintain a full-time student schedule (a minimum of 12 credits)

The Honors College award is given on the condition that students maintain a full-time student status. This award will be withdrawn if a student cannot meet this requirement.

Maintain Honors Code

All Honors Students are encouraged to maintain The Honors College code. Students found displaying gross misconduct and disregard of the code will be subject to dismissal and loss of scholarship award.
