Dear Prospective Student:

The Honors College at Miami Dade College provides a unique opportunity for academically gifted students like you to excel and fulfill your educational goals. Courses are designed for accelerated learners and facilitated by inspiring faculty members with expertise in a variety of disciplines at the College. 

This academic community, which is composed of diverse and international faculty and students, explores economic, global trends, cultural and social perspectives within the content of various curricula.

You may apply for The Honors College located at the Wolfson, North or Kendall campuses.  If you are proficient in English and Spanish, you may wish to consider the Honors Dual Language Program located at the InterAmerican Campus.  As a contributing member of our unique group of scholars, you will have access to small, interactive classes, study-travel opportunities, internships, mentors, personal academic advisement, individual career and transfer counseling, generous scholarship opportunities, and an Honors College e-mail address.

The Honors College is student focused and its commitment to excellence has been documented in several magazines and newspapers such as USA Today, Time magazine, U.S. News and world report, Newsweek, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, the Houston Chronicle and Chronicle of Higher Education.   Should you choose to apply — and if you are selected — you will be offered a seamless transition, with ample opportunities for financial assistance, into any of the many prestigious upper-division institutions with which the College has partnerships, and other high-ranking state and private universities, including those of the Ivy League and the Big 10.
