To calculate the equivalent number of days based on a faculty member's banked points, you divide the banked point balance by the number of points per day within a given term (see calculations shown) below. It is recommended that a banked point audit be requested to Human Resources in order to verify the banked point balance.

FALL TERM 2012-1

8-23-12 to 12-22-12 = 84 days

60 points/84 days = 0.714 points per day

Banked points/0.714 points = # of days

SPRING TERM 2012-2

1-7-13 to 5-4-13 = 83 days (includes Commencement)

60 points/83 days = 0.723 points per day

Banked points/0.723 points = # of days

SUMMER A 2012-3

5-13-13 to 6-22-13 = 30 days

24 points/30 days = 0.800 points per day

Banked points/0.800 points = # of days

SUMMER B 2012-4

6-24-13 to 8-3-13 = 30 days

24 points/30 days = 0.800 points per days
