To calculate the equivalent number of days based on a faculty member's banked points, you divide the banked point balance by the number of points per day within a given term (see calculations shown) below. It is recommended that a banked point audit be requested to Human Resources in order to verify the banked point balance.

FALL TERM 2011-1

8-18-11 to 12-17-11 = 84 days

60 points /84 days = 0.714 points per day

Banked points/0.714 points = # of days

SPRING TERM 2011-2

1-3-12 to 4-28-12 = 82 days (includes Commencement)

60 points/82 days = 0.732 points per day

Banked points/0.732 points = # of days

SUMMER A 2011-3

5-7-12 to 6-15-12 = 29 days

24 points/29 days = 0.828 points per day

Banked points/0.828 points = # of days

SUMMER B 2011-4

6-18-12 to 7-27-12 = 29 days

24 points/29 days = 0.828 points per days
