Again this year, we were extremely pleased to use the Online Open Enrollment process, as part of our service improvement efforts. Moving to this automated system makes it possible for you to enter your benefit elections anytime day or night, on a 24 hour basis, during the designated Open Enrollment Period.

The College's Open Enrollment Period for the Group Benefits Programs was October 23 through November 7, 2008. This was the time of the year when you would be able to move freely from one plan to another or enroll (if you are not participating) in the benefit programs listed below. All changes will be effective January 1, 2009. Employees and their dependents (if eligible) who are not currently participating under one of our group benefit plans may enroll or be added to these plans:

• Dental Insurance - Cigna Dental Healthcare (New Fee Schedule for DHMO)
• Disability Insurance - "Assurant Company" No underwriting required (New Rates, New Plans for 2009)
• Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts (HRA & DRA) - No automatic renewal, must re-enroll every year
• Health Care Insurance - Aetna HealthCare (New Rates)
• Legal Services - ARAG Legal Services
• Life Insurance - "Lincoln Financial"
• Long Term Care - CNA
• Sick Leave Pool Membership - MDC Program
• Tax Shelter Annuity 403(b) Plan - "TSA" (New Limits for 2009)
