The College's Open Enrollment Period for the Group Benefits Programs is October 22 through November 6, 2009 (11:59 p.m.). This is the time of the year when you will be able to move freely from one plan to another or enroll (if you are not participating) in the benefit programs listed below. All changes will be effective January 1, 2010. Employees and their dependents (if eligible) who are not currently participating under one of our group benefit plans may enroll or be added to these plans:

• Health Care Insurance - Aetna HealthCare (New Rates and Benefit Changes)
• Dental Insurance - Humana Dental (New Plans and Rates)
• Disability Insurance - "Assurant Company"
• Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts (HRA & DRA) - No automatic renewal, must re-enroll every year
• Legal Services - ARAG Legal Services (New Rates and Benefit Changes)
• Life Insurance - "Lincoln Financial"
• Long Term Care - CNA
• Sick Leave Pool Membership - MDC Program
• Tax Shelter Annuity 403(b) Plan - "TSA" (No Change in Limits for 2010)

Open Enrollment Facts

• The College's Benefits Programs will be available on a calendar year basis (January 1 - December 31, 2010)

• This is the one time during the year that you are allowed to change your benefits, unless you experience a "change of status," or "life event," like marriage or the birth of a child.

• The deadline to make changes or selections to the various benefit plans is November 6, 2009. Enrollment forms must be postmarked or received no later than 5:00 pm. Requests for changes after 5:00 pm, November 6, 2009, will not be processed. Please make your choices carefully! You will not be offered the opportunity to change plans again until the next Open Enrollment period.

Employees that may need assistance with the online enrollment process may attend one of the lab sessions hosted by a Human Resources representative.
