Compensation is responsible for providing salary offers to full-time positions, rate quotes for part-time jobs, classification of new positions, & reclassification reviews for current employees. The Request for Personnel Action is reviewed for accuracy of pertinent department, job and rate information and corrections are made as warranted. Other responsibilities include preparing salary surveys (local, state and federal; annual review/ maintenance of Salary Schedule, including job codes and salary ranges; and processing of garnishments and deductions.) |
