The Compensation and Benefits Department is in the process of reviewing and revising full-time job descriptions. The job descriptions are collegewide, generic descriptions; not department specific. As HR continues through this process, job descriptions will be added and/or modified. A symbol in front of the job classification title indicates that it has been reviewed and "Validated".

Full Time Job Classification Codes (Sorted by Paygrade)

  • PEC (Professional Exempt Contractual)

  • PENC (Professional Exempt Non-Contractual)

  • SNE (Support Non-Exempt)

  • Faculty (F/T Instructional/Contractual) Basic or Extended

Full-Time Employees with an Additional Part-Time Assignment (Sorted by Job Class Code)

  • C1 (Part-Time Clerical/Semi-Skilled/Maintenance Trades/Technical)

  • H1 (Hourly Instructional)

  • H1 (Hourly Non-Instructional)

  • L1 (Per Point Instructional)

  • P1 (Per Point Instructional)

Part Time Job Classification Codes (Sorted by Job Class Code)

  • C1 (Part-Time Clerical/Semi-Skilled/Maintenance Trades/Technical)

  • H1 (Hourly Instructional)

  • H1 (Hourly Non-Instructional)

  • P1 (Per Point Instructional)

Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) Definitions

  • "Exempt" = Not Eligible for Overtime Compensation

  • "Non-Exempt" = Eligible for Overtime Compensation after working  40 hours in a workweek.
