Survey of Animal Diversity Lab

This course presents zoology as a scientific discipline, the theory of evolution according to natural selection, the basic principles of zoological nomenclature, taxonomy, and systematic, the basic understanding of the relationships of animals to other organisms and to one another, and our understanding of the nature, consequences, and outcome of the global bio diversity crisis. Co-requisites: ZOO XXXXL (3 hr. lecture)

This laboratory course complements the lecture co requisite ZOO-XXXX, which presents zoology as a scientific discipline, the theory of evolution according to natural selection, the basic principles of zoological nomenclature, taxonomy, and systematics, the basic understanding of the relationships of animals to other organisms and to one another, and our understanding of the nature, consequences, and outcome of the global bio diversity crisis. This laboratory course provides hands-on experience with the concepts covered in the lecture course. Co-requisites: ZOO XXXX
