GRADING POLICY:
Quizzes:  1/3
Attendance will count as one quiz grade.
Exams/Presentations: 1/3 Final: 1/3
*A late presentation will receive a lower grade!
*Students with a 'C' average will need to pass a final fluency exam.
GRADING SCALE:
91 – 100 =       A  81 -   90 =       B
75 -   80 =       C  60 -   75 =       D
0 -   59 =       F “D” is not a passing grade.
READING/WRITING ASSIGNMENTS: In-class and/or homework reading and/or writingassignments will be given in every class.
MAKE-UP POLICY: Students may make up a final exam only if the absence is officially (medically) excused.  There are no make-ups for quizzes.
WITHDRAWAL: It is the student’s responsibility to officially withdraw from the course if he/she decides not to continue in the class. The professor may decide to administratively withdraw the student for a consecutive or cumulative total of 8 hours of absences.
INCOMPLETE GRADES: Incomplete grades will only be assigned under special conditions with prior permission
