GRADING POLICY:
Chapter Quizes: 30%
Comprehension tests : 30% (including computer work )
Final Exam: 30%    
Class participation and assignments: 10%    
GRADING SCALE:
91 – 100 =       A  81 -   90 =       B
75 -   80 =       C  60 -   75 =       D
0 -   59 =       F “D” is not a passing grade.
READING/WRITING ASSIGNMENTS: In-class and/or homework reading and/or writing assignments will be given in every class.
MAKE-UP POLICY: Students may make up a final exam only if the absence is officially (medically) excused.  There are no make-ups for quizzes.
WITHDRAWAL: It is the student’s responsibility to officially withdraw from the course if he/she decides not to continue in the class. The professor may decide to administratively withdraw the student for a consecutive or cumulative total of 8 hours of absences.
INCOMPLETE GRADES: Incomplete grades will only be assigned under special conditions with prior permission
