E PORTFOLIO
OF THE MONTH |
PC ownership has grown 84% of all students; this growth has mandated the integration of computer technology into our workforce and into our curriculums.
With this in mind, the electronic portfolio enters the world of education and employment as the missing link. Employers no longer wish to read tedious piles of paper resumes; they wish to see imagination and ingenuity. The e-portfolio allows the student a place to show him/her self in a respectful glowing way. In turn, it allows the perspective employer a chance to see the real candidate in a productive atmosphere rather then a sterile interview.
The e-portfolio is also a paperless file cabinet for all the great work one does, yet can never locate when needed.
Surf through the pages of this website and discover the world of e-portfolios and what they mean to MDC students and faculty. I think you will enjoy what you see and perhaps want to be part of our journey. |
