Title V Co-op grant progress
The new staff members for the ePortfolio Title
V grant have come on board. The team is now composed
of 5 individuals, 4 full-timers, and 1 part-timer.
2 staff members were hired to replace the
original key personnel as stipulated in the grant.
2 other staff members were hired to fill the needs
of the project and to support our growing number
of users, as per permission from our grant officer.

We are almost done updating the ePortfolio website.
Please visit the Faculty
page to view some of the ePortfolios created in
the Spring and Summer semesters. Many include
videos of students. We believe these will be very
inspiring to our current ePortfolio faculty, and
to those interested in implementing ePortfolios
in the near future.

Professor Penelope Roache joined the project this Fall and is currently implementing ePortfolios in her EAP Reading class.
Two professors from earlier cohorts are re-implementing ePortfolios, Yvette Lujan in her SPC 2600 Public Speaking class and Adrianne Thompson in her EAP 1600 Speech class.

The new system went through a second piloting phase
in the Spring.
It was placed on hold until hiring of our new Instructional
Designer - Developer.
We are planning to have it fine-tuned shortly and
hope to be able to offer it again next semester.
