Participation in the Electronic Portfolios project is open to Miami Dade College InterAmerican Campus undergraduate Faculty and St. Thomas University faculty.
There is a long term commitment and a stipend of $3,600 for participation and completion of a two semester contract.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

Attend all scheduled training sessions.

Submit one progress report for each month during the semester and a final comprehensive performance report at the end of the semester.

Demonstrate effective infusion of e-portfolio into the syllabus.

Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively with others.

Conduct a symposium presentation to the MDC community at a designated time.

Demonstrate ability to train other colleagues and students at MDC efficaciously.

Participating faculty will have to continue implementing e-portfolio, at least in one class each semester, in future offerings of the same or similar class.

Collaborate with a St. Thomas University Faculty on a respective Faculty class visit/exchange.

Get trained on the use of ePortfolio software. Create a personal portfolio, and a portfolio to use as a template for your class. |

Allow class time for training students on electronic portfolio (training usually takes two sessions). |

Use a classroom with computers for working or training on electronic portfolio. |
- |
Make sure students have an e-mail account prior to training on electronic portfolio. |
