EPortfolio Training
Training for electronic portfolios is usually done in two sessions.
Training needs to take place in a classroom with computers or in the Open Lab. Training is hands-on "learn by doing" - students are shown and then perform the steps.
Note: Students should have an e-mail account prior to starting training.
Session 1
First, students register with LiveText (the on-line platform we use for electronic portfolios) and get their accounts.

Students are shown how to create their portfolio using their professor's template.

Once the portfolio is created, the basics of using LiveText are covered.

Students are shown how to bring content into the Portfolio. Basics include editing sections and pages of the portfolio, formatting text, adding links and images.
Session 2
Students are taught how to give access to their portfolio.

Students give their professor the ability to review their portfolio.

Students create a pass to allow visitors outside of LiveText to visit their portfolio.
