The general public can use all of the print resources in the library as long as they abide by all of the rules and regulations of the College and Library staff. The use of computers is reserved for students.

HOW DO I GET A LIBRARY CARD?
Your MDCard is also your library card. This card is activated at the time of registration and will become deactivated if you drop all your courses or if you stop taking classes at one of the campuses on outreach centers. If you ever encounter any problems with your card while accessing the library via Internet, you should call (305) 237-6058 to try to fix the problem.

Reference Collection may not be borrowed.
Reserve Collection Most items are in-house use only. Others may circulate for various days based on the professor's request

You may return books at the circulation desk inside the library.

WHAT IF I NEED MATERIALS FROM ANOTHER CAMPUS LIBRARY?

You may request an InterLibrary Loan from any of the MDC campuses and any other community college library (65 in total) from the state of Florida just by filling out a form at the circulation desk or by requesting the ILL online from the bibliographic record of the book. Time of requested item arrival may vary based on location and other circumstances.
