Talbots Women’s Scholarship Fund - In keeping with its long-standing tradition of serving the community. Talbots has established a unique national $100,000 scholarship program: a fund just for women who earned their high school diploma or GED at least 10 years ago, who are now seeking a college degree. Requirements:
- Be a women currently resides in the United States
- Be women who have earned their high school diploma of GED at least 10 years ago (no later than September 1991)
- Be seeking a degree from an accredited 2- or 4- year college or university or vocational-technical school
- Have at least two full-time semesters remaining to complete their undergraduate degree

The Coca-Cola/Hispanic Scholarship Fund 2006-2007 Community College Transfer Program – The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) was founded in 1975 to help Hispanic-American college students complete their education. The scholarships are available to students who meet the following criteria:
- Be of Hispanic background (one parent must be fully Hispanic or both parents must be half Hispanic)
- Be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident (with permanent residency card)
- Minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Be a full-time community college student
- Be attending a US accredited four-year college full-time form Fall 2006 through Spring 2007

Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) - Scholarships are available to students who meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrate financial need
- Meet the specified criteria for the scholarship to which they are applying
- Be attending a HACU member institution at the time applications are completed (Miami Dade College is a HACU member institution

Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) - Scholarships are available to students who meet the following criteria:
- Be of Hispanic Heritage: persons descended from Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Dominican, Central American (excluding Belize), South American (excluding Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana), or other Spanish cultures
- Be a US citizen OR legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
- Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent)
- Be pursuing or plan to pursue your first undergraduate or graduate degree
