Student Government is composed of a Senate and Executive Cabinet. Fellow students elect the Executive Cabinet for a one-year-term. The President represent the student body at functions and meetings that are held on or off campus. The Vice-President assists the President in representing the student body at Senate meetings, events and other committees. The Secretary maintains all minutes and correspondence. The Treasurer maintains accurate records of income and expenditures.

All interested students are encourage to submit their affidavit for candidacy during the spring term. Senators of Student Government cerate committees to define students concerns and how to best represent them to the campus leadership. They are also required to represent the student body at many campus functions.

Getting involved in SGA is quite simple. A student may complete an application for a position that is available throughout the year. A student may participate in many events and activities sponsored by SGA and attend SGA meetings. Whatever level a student whishes to participate, he or she knows his or her participation is valuable.
