Clubs and Organizations

Student organizations form an integral part of the overall Student Life program at the College. All students are encouraged to participate in clubs and organizations at the College. Information on "How To Form a Student Organization" is available in the Student Life Department at each campus. The following student organizations have a chapter on the InterAmerican campus of Miami Dade College:

Anime Club

  • The Anime Club intends to learn about and appreciate Japanese culture through films, art, and music. The club will also attend applicable cultural events throughout the school year.

Best Buddies

B.U.G. Bicycle Users’ Group

  • The purpose of B.U.G. is to organize potential bicyclists for the purpose of educating, supporting, and improving conditions for bicycling to school. B.U.G/’s philosophy arises from observing and scientifically thinking about the negative ecological and sociological impact our culture is having on the social fabric of the community and environment.

COUNCIL FOR EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN

  • The purpose of this chapter shall be to advance the education of individuals with exceptionalities and to promote related educational, scientific , and charitable purposes. Specifically, the chapter intends to assist and provide support to the Florida state/provincial unit of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) in all its efforts on behalf of persons with exceptionalities, and to participate in all appropriate governance activities of CEC subject to the general supervision and control of CEC.

  • Crosswalk is a campus group for students who want to study the Bible, discuss ways to apply its teaching to everyday life, and search for opportunities to serve others.

Dancing with Style
