PROJECT CLASS (Career Ladder Assures Students' Success) is a Title VII grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education, offering eligible education majors free class tuition, books, child care stipend, tutoring and mentoring. It provides a pathway to move up the career ladder leading to a professional degree.

 

Consistent with Miami-Dade College’s Mission Statement to provide accessible, affordable, high quality education, Project CLASS is committed to improve the professional development of instructional paraeducators.


It is our mission:
To improve the performance of bilingual and LEP (Limited English Proficient) students, especially those at-risk or with special needs, by upgrading the knowledge base and skills of the target population: paraprofessionals, teacher aides, high school graduates, and MDC students.
