Dr. Ken Boos has been a member of the faculty at Miami Dade College since 1986. In his tenure he has served a Department Chair (11 years), Associate Dean (7 years) and currently is the coordinator of the Choral/Vocal program at the Kendall Campus.

Ken Boos conducts the Chamber Singers, Women's Choir and is the Artistic Director of the Civic Chorale of Greater Miami.  Additionally he teaches Theory and Sightsinging classes.

In 1995 he was awarded the Andrew Blank Endowed teaching Chair. In 2000 he was recognized by the International Chair Academy with its Regional Outstanding Leadership Award, and in 2012 was recognized as the Arts Advocate of the Year by the Music Settlement in Cleveland, Ohio.
