BIOGRAPHY
Duane Summers has worn so many hats in the music industry for over 20 years now. He has been DJ, Recording Engineer, Live Sound Engineer, Recording Studio Designer/Builder, Production Manager Music Producer, and Artist Manager. Born and raised in that little big island Jamaica, his love for music has led him on a journey most people dream about.

Duane started out as a DJ while attending Jamaica College (High School), calling his sound system Idlerz Disco, later to be dubbed Changez International, with chapters in Atlanta, the US Virgin Islands and Miami. With his sights set on bigger things, he went on to get his degree in Sound Engineering at Miami Dade College Kendall Campus from 1991 to 1993.

Immediately after graduating Maimi Dade College he went on to work in recording studios with many artists like Common, The Roots, Slick Rick, Beenie Man, Buju Banton, and Sean Paul just to name a few. He has also worked with Producers such as Scott Storch, Quest Love, and Jeremy Harding. While freelancing as a Recording/Mix Engineer, he also got into recording studio design and consultation, designing and doing installs in professional facilities from Jamaica to Miami.

In 2001 Duane started touring the world with Grammy winning Reggae Artist Sean Paul, as his personal Production Manager/Engineer for 6 years. He then toured with Dance Hall/Reggae superstar Shaggy, as Monitor Engineer. Since then Duane has engineered for a long list of artists. A small sample of this list include, Stephen Marley, Maxi Priest, Ty Dolla Sign, and Far East Movement. Working with such stellar artist produced the opportunity to be on tours like Mariah Carry's "Adventures of Mimi Tour," 50cent and Jay 's "Rock The Mike Tour" as well as one of the biggest hip hop tours "Rock Da Bells Tour." Duane also accompanied some of these artists as their engineer on TV shows like Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Jay Leno, and, The Conan Obrian Show.

In 2008 Duane accepted the position of Studio/Lab Manager at Miami Dade College. While working at Miami Dade College Duane drew from years of experience working with Sean Paul's management to manage Anita Antoinette (www.anitaantoinette.com) from 2016 to 2018. Anita Antoinette is a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist best known as a top ten finalist on "The Voice." Duane still produces music and engineer for various artist and events such as Miami Broward Carnival and Kaya Fest to this day.
